Hidden in the Fog

Strikingly shot in inky chiaroscuro, this stylish, twist-laden mystery—something like a Swedish riff on Otto Preminger’s noir classic LAURA—features a striking performance from Eva Henning as (who else?) Lora, a wealthy woman who shoots and kills (or does she?) her no-good husband. As she flees into the fog-shrouded streets of Stockholm’s night world, Lora recounts the twisted series of events that led her to an act of violence.
