A glitter-spritzed plunge into the orgiastic excess of New York City’s 1970s disco inferno, this reclaimed queer cult classic casts a fascinatingly against-type Mike Myers as Steve Rubell, owner of Manhattan’s legendary Studio 54, the city’s most exclusive nightclub. When handsome Jersey boy Shane O’Shea (Ryan Phillippe), lured by the glamour of the New York nightlife, is hired by Rubell as a busboy, he finds himself increasingly lost in a world of sex, drugs, and hedonism beyond his wildest dreams.
