The East Is Red

The great Brigitte Lin returns as Dongfang Bubai—the gender-bending, needle-wielding martial-arts master possessed of supernatural powers—in THE EAST IS RED (a.k.a. SWORDSMAN III), the audacious, outrageously action-packed finale to the acclaimed SWORDSMAN trilogy. In the wake of Dongfang Bubai’s presumed death, a host of impostors have emerged claiming to be the legendary cult leader. But it seems reports of their death have been greatly exaggerated, as the identity-shifting warrior returns to lay waste to the pretenders—including an ex-lover (Joey Wong)—along with a host of colonial invaders.
